I decided to take this class because I'm not exactly sure what I want to do in life, but I feel that learning some skills in respect to making my own business and establishing myself could be very beneficial in the long run. An idea I always had was to open a location that functioned as a skate park, but also a music venue. If the idea was successful, I could even incorporate other aspects such as a bar or a skate shop as well, but nonetheless, Entrepreneurship skills would be very helpful to know.

That's great that you want to open up your own business! What kind of business do think that you would open up? Would you use any of the skill your father taught you and if so which advice would you apply to your business? Are there any risk that he forewarned you about and if so how would you circumvent these issues?
ReplyDeleteThe Skate Park music venue sounds like a great idea actually. In the UK, some music festivals open up day festivals occasionally especially in the summer and they're a hell of a lot of fun. I haven't seen anything like that here so that could pose a seriously good entrepreneurial opportunity.
ReplyDeleteIt's also really cool that you have entrepreneurial blood. You're parents could give you some potentially helpful and useful guidance when you first start out in whatever you decide to do.
